At Kati Kollection, we are dedicated to celebrating the beauty and strength of unique silhouettes through thoughtfully designed, handmade clothing. Based in Detroit, MI, we embrace body positivity and empower our community by creating garments that inspire confidence, comfort, and style. Our mission is to provide high-quality, custom-made pieces that fit every unique curve and express individuality, because every woman deserves to feel beautiful and confident in her own skin

Meet the owner 

Katiann first started her sewing journey is 2019 by creating handmade cotton face masks during the pandemic with her mother. Her mother was the one to purchase her first sewing machine that she still uses to this day in her design studio to create beautiful custom garments.

With the backing of her supportive and talented family Katiann comes from a long line of strong women seamstress. In the 80’s, her mother and aunt teamed together to create tropical runway couture in Hawaii showcased in many iconic fashion shows. Prior to that her grandmother and great grandmother handmade custom gowns to be passed down to the younger generations. Her niece, at only 17, has created unique as well as sustainable one of a kind collections showcased in several of her school’s fashion shows. With more than 30 years of experience her sister also bears the title of a professional fashion assassin.
